  • Can I decorate the night before?
    In the event that the day/ night before your event is not booked, you may come in and decorate for a nominal hourly fee.
  • Is a rehearsal included in the rental price?
    A one-hour rehearsal is included during the week before your wedding, based on availability.
  • Do you save dates?
    We hold a date when requested to do so. We’ll hold the date for 5 consecutive days and if another event wants to book that date, we will contact you. You then have 24 hours to decide to move forward with booking or release the date.
  • How long do we have the space?
    A full day’s rental is from 10 AM to midnight CST (14 hours) for Fridays and Saturdays. Sunday through Thursday events end at 10 PM CST, in accordance with local noise ordinances. All contents brought in by the host(s) must be completely removed and the building will be locked at 10 PM or midnight. Please contact us for hourly daytime event options for baby showers, brunches and corporate meetings.
  • Is the space handicap accessible?
    Barrelhouse The Venue is located on the ground floor and is ADA accessible. There are designated handicap parking spaces, as well.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    Once a deposit has been received, we consider the date to be booked and remove it from our availability calendar. Cancellation of the event after the 5-day grace period has passed will result in forfeiture of any deposit paid. In the event of any federal, state or local statute, ordinance or executive order, included but not limited to Covid-19, that would prevent the Host from using the space on the Event Date, the agreement may terminate, and the Owner will reimburse the Host for monies paid less an administrative fees.
  • What is included in the rental fee?
    When renting the entire venue, you are entitled to use of the building, patio, courtyard (if applicable,) parking lot, restrooms, and bridal suite during your rental period, in addition tables and chairs for groups of up to 200 are provided. Smaller events may have limited access to the above areas. Please contact us for more details.
  • Can we have a ceremony in the space?
    You may absolutely have a ceremony either indoor or outdoor, at Barrelhouse The Venue. There is a fee for ceremonies which includes a conversion of the space for your reception, if necessary. Alternatively, we do have a beautiful outdoor courtyard that can be rented for ceremonies however, hosts are responsible for procuring their own chairs, as our chairs are for indoor use only.
  • Do you have tables and chairs?
    Yes, table and chairs are included. With the rental of the Barrelhouse The Venue our guests can use our custom-built farmhouse tables and black Chiavari chairs accommodating up to 200. Please note, our table and chairs are indoor use only.
  • How can I book Barrelhouse The Venue?

  • What additional fees can I expect?
    Indiana State Tax of 7% will apply along with a 4% service fee for credit card transactions. A security guard is required for parties of 75 or more when alcohol is being served. Security is arranged by Barrelhouse The Venue and is the host’s responsibility to pay security at the end of the event. For weekday and hourly events, a cleaning fee may apply.
  • How many guests does the venue hold?
    Barrelhouse The Venue seats up to 200 seated or up to 300 for a cocktail reception. If you need a smaller space for intimate gatherings, our private suite can be converted to a private dining area for up to 40 guests.
  • What are my décor options?
    Barrelhouse The Venue offers 2 décor packages for rent. Please inquire for pictures & pricing! We do not allow nails, command strips or any permanent changes to the space. Confetti, rice, bubbles & glitter are prohibited. While open flames are not prohibited, the candle can be in a votive. For specific requests, please contact us.
  • How does bar service work?
    Zorn Brew Works is our exclusive beverage provider for the space. They have freshly brewed beers, domestics, wines and spirits along with licensed bar staff and glassware. Various packages are available. NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED AT BARRELHOUSE THE VENUE.
